Agreements

Basic Rates are only for the first hour. The "hour" begins when I start playing prelude, generally 15 minutes to 30 minutes before the ceremony begins. In case of rehearsing with a soloist before I play prelude, my rate is charged starting the rehearsal with the soloist.

Additional hours will be calculated using the Additional Hours rate.

For events lasting longer than one hour, a 10-minute break, taken at the discretion of the Artist, is required every hour. Events over 3 hours require a 15-minute break every hour.

Rehearsal attendance is not included the wedding package. Fees for attending the rehearsal are $100/hr (piano/organ), $150/hr (keyboard), and plus travel.

For outdoor engagements, a shaded level place must be arranged for the Artist to set up the instrument. If inclement weather conditions prevail, Purchaser must arrange for an alternate site. If inclement weather conditions make it impossible to complete the performance, the Artist shall nevertheless be paid the full Contract price.

If this agreement is cancelled by the Purchaser less than 10 days before the engagement, the balance shall be required in full. Deposits are not refundable

Overtime is provided only upon mutual agreement of the Purchaser and Artist. Artist will only continue in the absence of later bookings. Overtime fees are payable in cash on day of the performance.

Parking fees are to be paid by the Purchaser.

There is a bereavement discount for funerals, memorial services, and memorial receptions ($25 discount).
