About Miri
Miri Lee is an award-winning concert pianist, successful teacher, sought-after accompanist, and an in-demand wedding musician (piano, harp & pipe organ). Miri graduated with Bachelor and Masters degrees in piano performance from the University of British Columbia (UBC), where she garnered numerous awards and scholarships and studied with various renowned teachers as well as world famous pianists in their master-classes. As a soloist, a collaborative artist and a corporate entertainer, Miri has performed all over British Columbia, Calgary, New York, San Francisco, Nashville, Honolulu, Seattle, Los Angeles, Seoul and Hong Kong. She has performed at venues including the Segerstrom Center for the Arts (Orange County, LA), Orpheum (Vancouver, BC), Surrey Arts Centre (Surrey, BC), Bell Performing Arts Centre (Surrey, BC), Chan Centre for the Performing Arts (UBC, Vancouver, BC), The Kay Meek Theatre (West Vancouver, BC), Gateway Theatre, the Richmond Cultural Centre (Richmond, BC), Maury Young Arts Centre (Whistler), Top of the Mark Hopkins (San Francisco) and the Vancouver International Airport (Richmond, BC). With a diverse interest in music, Miri has worked with a Broadway Musical Group as well as Vancouver Opera and City Opera Vancouver. As Music Director at a local church, Miri plays piano and pipe organ and conducts the chancel choir. Miri holds an Associate of the Royal Conservatory of Toronto (a.k.a. A.R.C.T.) Music Performer's Diploma and teaches piano from her Vancouver & Richmond studios. Miri also accompanies numerous ensembles and plays her three instruments in many upscale venues for various events in Greater Vancouver area all year. Forever pushing the artistic boundaries, Miri is also a YouTube sensation, sharing her billboard 100 pop and Kpop piano renditions with over 343K+ fans worldwide, and her cover videos have been viewed over 60 million times to date.
